PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the cover of the acclaimed actress’ forthcoming memoir It’s Never Too Late, out in early 2026 from Amistad, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

For years, Gibbs, 94, has been a beloved television staple. The Emmy nominee and NAACP Image Award winner is best-known for roles like the family maid Florence Johnston on hit sitcom The Jeffersons, as well as matriarch Mary Jenkins on 227, for which she also sang the theme song and produced.
